Alone she stood contemplating her past,
The sun cast its rays on her face,
Her long dark hair being teased by the wind,
She was searching Gods earth for her place.
This lady of beauty was admired by her friends,
For the strength and courage she showed,
A Mother, wife, and sister with love,
True friend to all she had known.
For all who knew her she possessed not a flaw,
No weakness had she ever displayed,
Only perfection from her Mona Lisa smile,
Which appeared on her face everyday.
She was a pillar of strength when called upon,
To intervene and offer hope to her friends,
And when she was certain that calm had returned,
She would offer herself all over again.
This lady who wore such a beautiful smile,
Long dark hair that flowed down to her waist,
But a weakness lay hidden and buried inside,
That only herself was able to taste.
She has struggled for years to discover self worth,
Low self esteem appeared chained to her heart,
If only she could see and believe in herself,
And understand she does more than her part.
A Mother, a sister, a friend, and lover,
If only her eyes were to see,
The love, the caring, and compassion,
That she spreads so selflessly.

A year or so ago, beginning of 2004
I met a man so gentle and kind
He wrote of reality poems taken from his heart,
Admired from people around the world
and love by most of his colleagues and friends. . .
This man is full of compassion..
In my eyes , His spirit glow like the stars
from the sky slowly coming down
to spread a ray of light..
His words and verses are like sweet music that
commands you to dream of long lasting love,
of summers and winters
and sometimes hope.. His phrases will make you
cry , laughed and celebrate life. . .
He has given me encouragements
when I'm feeling down and Inspired me to write
"Don't be afraid to speak your mind he say,
you have just as much right as everybody else does."
At times , he wipe my tears without knowing it. . .
I admire him as an accomplished writer and a friend
This person I spoke of is Valentyne Lang
I'm proud to call him my friend
Merry Christmas Dear Heart. . .
